Expectations
  • Clients may reach me directly, via text or email.  I will respond to emails within 24 hours; unless Closed/Out on vacation.
  • If you do not receive an email confirmation from the scheduling system, your reservation is NOT vaild. 
  • Please arrive No More than 10 minutes before your session to fill out paperwork; First Time Guests and those who havent visited within the past 6 months.
  • All jewelry should be taken off before each session.
  • Be clean; having showered the same day as treatment.
  • Sexual harassment is not tolerated.  If I feel my safety is compromised, the session will be stopped immediately.
  • I perform services for which I am qualified to do, and refer to the appropriate specialist when work is not within my scope of practice.
  • Cells phones should be placed on silent as you enter the building; as there are sessions in progress. Also, PLEASE refrain from cell phone conversations while in the waiting area; please step out in the foyer to take/make calls.
  • Payment is expected at the time of service rendered.
  •  If you are using a Groupon/Marketing Special for your session and you No Call/No Show, you have chosen to forfeit your session and your voucher will be redeemed; voucher numbers are needed and redeemed at the time of booking.  Please let me know as soon as possible if you need to cancel/ reschedule. I do not want you to lose your session but please respect and understand that my time is valuable.  It is hard to get clients in at the last minute to cover the time you missed; profit is being lost. Groupons must be booked and redeemed by the expiration date to receive the promotional value; the amount you paid will still be accepted after the expiration date, plus any addition fees for your service; the original price listed on your voucher.   **Groupon vouchers are solely for New Clients or Clients who have not visited in the past (12) months.   I will not accept Groupon Vocuhers at its promotional value if you have already used a Groupon Voucher within your (12) month time frame; additional fees will apply.

Cancellations/Rescheduling

A 24 hour cancellation notice is required. If you are more than 15 minutes late for your session it may be rescheduled or continued minus the time you missed; ending at the original time.
  •  You have 24 hours to Cancel/Reschedule without "fee". You will receive a 48 hour Email reminder and 24 hour text reminder.  Update/Reschedule via Online Services. Please cancel via Text Only if less than 24 hour notice. If you cancel/reschedule less than 24 hours before your session you will be required to pay a convenience fee at your next booking. 
  • No Call/No Show is a voluntary forfeit of your session; Paid or Voucher.
  • We understand that emergencies can arise and illnesses do occur at inopportune times. If you have a fever, a known infection, or have experienced vomiting or diarrhea within 24 hours prior to your appointment time, we request that you cancel your session. Inclement weather may also result in the need for late cancellations. We will do our best to give advanced notice if we are closing or need to cancel due to bad weather and we ask you to do the same. Please do not risk your own safety trying to
    make your appointment. Late cancellation due to emergency, illness, or inclement weather will generally not result in any missed session charges, but this is determined on a case-by-case basis.


First Massage?
Before the massage:
  • Fill out the intake form.  This is a brief summary of your contact information, health history, and consent to the massage.
  • Tell me about your health and about anything happening with your body that massage may help (ex: stiff neck or lower back pain).
  • Your massage will be performed in a private room to maximize relaxation and comfort.
  • You will be asked to undress to whatever degree you are comfortable.
  • You will be completely draped with a sheet during your entire session.  Only one part of your body will be massaged at a time, and only that part will be uncovered.
  • I will leave the room while you undress. That will give you a few minutes to get comfortable on the table under the sheet.
  • If you prefer that a part of your body not be touched (ex: feet) please say so.
  • I am aware that many clients experience some initial degree of shyness, nervousness or anxiety over doing something new for the first time.  Because of this, I strive to make sure your experience is calm, relaxing and peaceful.  Now that you know what to expect, just relax and enjoy your massage.
During the massage:
  • If the pressure is too light or too hard, ask to have the pressure changed.  Some massage techniques are only light but asking is appropriate.
  • If you are uncomfortable for any reason, please say something and the massage will stop.
  • Tell me where you hurt.  This way the massage can focus on where you need it most.
  • Often breathing deeply can help you get the most out of a massage.
At the end of the massage:
  • I will do a hold (at the top of your head or feet) that lets you know that your session is complete.
  • I will then leave the room so you can get dressed.
  • At this time don’t move too quickly; take your time and get dressed at a relaxed pace.
After the massage:
  • Drink lots of water.  That helps the body remove toxins that were release during the massage.
  • Plan to take the first 30 minutes after your massage lightly; allow the massage to settle your body.
Sanitation and Hygiene:
  • All equipment and linen that come in contact with the client will be cleansed in an approved method.
  • All lubricants will be dispensed in a contamination-free manner.
  • My hands and forearms will be washed with hot soapy water before and after each session.

Personal Information - Your name, personal postal / e-mail addresses and personal telephone number are private and confidential. Because your privacy is important to me, I maintain effective information protection policies. Such information is collected only when you voluntarily provide it, specifically when you send an email through the web site or complete an online form. The personal information you provide is forwarded only to concerned parties equipped to handle your request and is used only to respond to your inquiry. Personal information will not be sold to any third parties, nor will such information be added to bulk e-mail lists.
